My version of Menchi Katsu uses Pork Sausage meat for the patties and I bake rather than deep-frying. This is another great way to use sausages. Its great as a main course or cut them into bite sized pieces for a lunchbox.

4Pork Sausages
½cupPanko (Bread Crumbs)
¼cupPlain flour
1Egg Beaten

Instructions
Using the tip of a sharp knife, pierce and slice down the sausage skin. Then remove the skin completely and repeat for all 4 sausages.
Using your hands shape each sausage into a pattie.
Ready a frying pan over a low heat. Add the panko and the oil, mix well and fry until the panko turns a nice colour, then remove it.
Pre-heat the oven to 180C.
Take a pattie and cover with the plain flour, then dip into the beaten egg and finally coat with the fried panko. Repeat for all patties.
Place the patties on a non-stick baking tray and place in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Turn them once.
Serve with Tonkatsu sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Enjoy your meal :D
